A HEART APART (Davisson-J 2018)

A departure from my "unusual" line, A HEART APART is a pretty 8" deep rose with a gently ruffled light pink edge and a lighter rose pink watermark. From a cross of CHAIRMAN MAO X REGINA SITKO, it's a bud builder that gets taller as the season progresses. Scapes are sturdy at 26" with wide spaced 4 way branching, 22 buds. Starts mid-season and blooms late into the season. Foliage is flawless, reminiscent of Whatley lines, with beautiful blue green color. Dormant plant habit. Easily fertile both ways even when it's hot making fat, full seed pods! Fragrant, too! A heart stopper in a clump with perfectly formed show quality flowers with sunfast color saturation. A perfect display for the front of your border. Tetraploid.
